About our Logo
Our logo is a culmination of ideas and creativity by the FAC Board, Staff, and Members which were taken by a graphic artist, Kassy Heard, and lovingly created for the FAC.  We give many thanks to Ms. Heard for her patience, time, and willingness to lend her talents to the First Archivists Circle.

About the Artist
By day, Ms. Heard works in the Human Resources Department for a Tribe in Michigan; however, her first love is art.  Kassy has been drawing with colored pencils or painting her whole life and decided to pursue her career and education at Baker College where she received her Associates Degree in Graphic Communications in June 2006.

When wearing her Graphic Designing Hat, Kassy enjoys taking on projects and publications for organizations like the First Archivists Circle and family and friends.

If you are interested in Kassy helping you with an artistic or graphic project you can reach her via email.
